I went to the Gainesville Georgia location 20 years ago. I'm thrilled there is a Montgomery Alabama location too. The Big pork sandwich I get dry no sauce. I then add honey BBQ sauce myself.The chicken nuggets no sauce. I then dip them in teriyaki sauce and blue cheese dressing It's a really good place.

The food and service here is amazing! The service has always been great anytime I've been here. Also, the food is sooooo good. They have several different kinds of burgers, along with bbq of course, salads, hot dogs. They also have many sides to pick from, the mac n cheese is my favorite. They also have peach cobbler that is amazing and tastes like the homenade kind and they have their own type of peach sweet tea as well.

For a chain bbq restaurant Shane's Rib Shack is great! I can rarely choose what I want so my go to is the sampler plate. (Pulled pork or chicken, ribs, grilled or fried tenders, toast and two sides). I love all of the protein options. The Mac and cheese is great. Also don't miss the peach cobbler If you have room. Pair all of that with friendly service and it's a win. My fav bbq spot in town.

I'm not a big fan of barbeque but I really love Shane's. They have the best ribs in town, by far. We order to go a lot, and we dine in occasionally. If you aren't a big fan of barbeque, they have a really good cheeseburger. Their onion rings are also very good. We like the smothered pork sandwich. The service is really good and everyone is nice.

Barbecue places are a dime a dozen but if you want a great variety of items to choose from and what I consider the best barbecue in Montgomery, you won’t be disappointed with Shane’s. I’ve had the pulled pork plate and sandwich, pulled chicken and sandwich, smoked half chicken and the baby back ribs. They are all fantastic. This occasion I went with the half rack baby back ribs. They are always consistently cooked to fall off the bone perfection and are delicious (As you can see in my partially eaten plate in my photo). I chose fried okra and potato salad for my sides. Okra was hot and nicely battered but not overly so. Potato salad was good but you’ll never come close to fresh homemade potato salad made at home but this one is better than most. Food came out quick and was hot. Staff was friendly and prices are in line with most other barbecue places. We paid about 35 for a rib plate, sandwich and two drinks. Portions were normal sized but their sandwiches are usually super large and packed with meat.

This was my 1st time here. The place was not too crowded. The food was awesome and the restaurant was spotless. The cashiers were nice and helpful. The half chicken plate was awesome. The food was hot and delicious. They did have seating up front for those waiting on orders or either you can sit out in the restaurant. Will definitely be back.

The bbq'd chicken with green beans, potato salad, and texas toast was all good. The 1/2 chicken was fresh and well prepared. It had crust that was delightfully tasteful with a damn good bbq sauce. The staff was very friendly and professional. Will surely return to this location.

I am a gig worker and regularly pickup deliveries here. Therefore, my review is more about the service than the food. The counter employees are great. Always very friendly and helpful. The way they always verify the orders makes my job so much easier. As for the food, it does smell amazing, and the prices seem fair.
